The process
From estimate to defensible record
The platform is highly automated so it can serve volume — but a human valuer's signature is the compliance moat, never designed out. Seven stages take you from a free estimate to a signed, auditable Codex.
- 01
Indicative range
Answer a few questions and get an instant indicative value range — free, and clearly not compliance-grade.
- 02
Onboarding & triage
A short questionnaire assigns your engagement a tier and confirms scope, purpose (default: the 30 June 2027 CGT reset) and an independent valuer.
- 03
Secure data collection
Connect your accounting system and complete a guided questionnaire. Everything is stored in Australia; a completeness engine chases what's missing.
- 04
Automated analysis
A deterministic, versioned engine normalises earnings, selects the right method, and produces a value range with a full calculation trail.
- 05
Valuer review & sign-off
An independent qualified valuer inspects every input, method and assumption, adjusts as needed, and signs. Every decision is captured.
- 06
Delivery
You receive a signed report on the IVS / APES 225 standard, with a complete evidence pack — plus a dashboard of your value and its drivers.
- 07
Value improvement
A companion report shows where value is being lost and a prioritised roadmap to lift it — framed around the business, not the number.
Tiers & triage
A triage questionnaire assigns the right lane. Any single complexity flag bumps the engagement up a tier — you always see which tier applies and why.
Tier 0 — Indicative
Anyone. A rules-based estimate range. No sign-off — not compliance-grade.
Tier 1 — Streamlined
Single, profitable entity. Capitalisation of maintainable earnings + market multiples. Signed by an independent valuer.
Tier 2 — Standard
Larger or more complex. Earnings-based plus an asset cross-check. Deeper valuer review.
Tier 3 — Complex
Groups, cross-border, pre-revenue or disputes. Bespoke method, full manual review by a senior valuer.
The seal signifies a signed record
Only the final, valuer-signed report carries the Codex seal. Its absence is deliberate — an indicative estimate is a working document, not a defensible valuation.
